My name is Sydney and I am a native of Mobile, AL. It took a long time for me to choose a property to nominate that actually meant something to me. After careful thought and consideration, I chose one of the two main buildings of my old high school. For the longest time, McGill-Toolen, often nicknamed McT, was the only Catholic high school of the greater Mobile area. My grandmother was actually a graduate of Bishop Toolen School for Girls before it merged with McGill Institute. My family has a long history with the school, with my grandmother being the first of the family to attend. In addition to my grandmother attending the school, i have several aunts, uncles, cousins, and my dad and siblings that have attended.
